OceanSchedules.com Uses Power of the Internet to Create Community for Ocean Logistics Professionals

Launches Holiday Challenge Game to Benefit Charitable Organizations for the Ocean Logistics Community

Parsippany, N.J., December 3, 2007 - OceanSchedules.com, a leading provider of free ocean container schedules to all shippers and forwarders, is pleased to kick off the holiday season by offering a free puzzle game to users around the world.  With a goal of driving awareness for charitable organizations in the ocean logistics community, the game will provide global visibility for charitable organizations by offering free advertising space on the Website.

Starting November 29, visitors to www.oceanschedules.com can play the OceanSchedules.com Challenge, a fun online game which allows users to test their geography skills. All the advertising space around the game is donated by OceanSchedules.com for exclusive use by charities. There's no need for users to register – all visitors can take the challenge, compete against the clock or against colleagues to see who can complete all six stages in the quickest time. All those that finish the stages can enter the Hall of Fame.

"As a global Internet-based service with users in 116 countries, we are delighted to have developed this online challenge as an entertaining way of raising community awareness of global charities that use ocean logistics services. It is our hope that users will try the OceanSchedules.com Challenge and choose to learn more about the good work these charities do," said Andy Barrons, Managing Director, OceanSchedules.com.

Visited by logistics professionals responsible for shipping over 20 million TEU per year, the global reach and influence of OceanSchedules.com makes it a natural vehicle for promoting humanitarian work that utilizes ocean transportation. The Mission to Seafarers, World Vision and Samaritan's Feet are already advertising on the game site and provide humanitarian services such as delivering food, development aid, and basic necessities such as footwear and emergency relief around the world.

"Our vision with this initiative is to use the Internet to raise awareness of, and recognition for, the good causes associated with the ocean industry," said Harry Sangree, a founder of OceanSchedules.com. "We hope it will inspire individuals and organizations to get involved and support charities that provide aid in times of crisis."
